Getting around
Most of the citys ancient sights are within easy walking distance of Syntagma Square at the centre of Athens. Taxis are available but be sure to check the meter for the correct tariff. There are also frequent buses and trolley buses and youll find the recently constructed Metro and tram lines offer a clean, efficient and inexpensive way to get around.
