Getting to your hotel
Transfers are not included, but you could take a 20-25 minute train ride from the airport to Plaça de Cataluñya for about €5, or catch a bus to central Barcelona, which takes half an hour and costs around €4 each way. Taxis are also available from the airport. If you are flying in to Girona Airport, frequent coach services are available between the airport and Paseo de San Juan in downtown Barcelona. The journey takes approximately one hour and 10 minutes and you can purchase a return ticket locally for €19 per person
 
Getting around
Like most cities, you often see more on foot. Barcelona is no exception and is a great city for strolling around and admiring the beautiful buildings, especially those on Las Ramblas and in the Gothic Quarter. Barcelona also has two fast and clean Metro services and taxis are plentiful. If you wish to explore further afield there's an efficient bus and rail network.
