Measuring about five miles across, Valencia is compact and easy to explore on foot. Public transport is readily available in the form of buses and the Metro, with buhos (night buses) running in the evening. Taxis are also widely available. One of Valencia's main attractions is the City of Arts and Sciences, which houses a range of fascinating exhibits, interactive displays, films and underwater habitats. For a more historical viewpoint, visit the González Martí National Ceramics Museum and the elegant Gothic Lonja de la Seda silk exchange, now a World Heritage Site.
