Transfers
McCarran International Airport is just one mile east of the southern end of The Strip in Las Vegas and four miles from downtown. Taxis usually cost between $9 and $15 depending on your destination. Theres also a minibus service that runs to both The Strip and downtown.
 
Getting around
A hire car is invaluable if you want to see more of Las Vegas than just The Strip and all hotels offer free parking. Las Vegas Boulevard is the main thoroughfare, making getting around very simple. Public transport is also available in the form of streetcars that run up and down The Strip for a flat fare of approximately $1.50 and the Downtown Trolley costs about $0.50.
