The lodge is fantastic in the autumn, when the leaves on the trees turn to gold, and looks beautiful in winter snowfall, too. The rustic-style accommodation and public areas are housed in the main building and timber-and-stone lodges scattered around the grounds, all inspired by the hunting lodges and mountain retreats of the great American northwest. Nature is even replicated in waterfalls in the swimming pool, though kids are more likely to appreciate the fun of the waterslides while parents relax in the Jacuzzi and sauna. The décor reflects the rugged beauty of the American Arts and Crafts era, and most guest rooms have their own rocking chair - the traditional style is very welcoming. With warming log fires in the winter, quaint wooden furniture and staff dressed as rangers, Disneys Sequoia Lodge® is the perfect refuge for lovers of the great outdoors. To add to the atmosphere, you can even watch your food being cooked in the two restaurants, where meat dishes are the speciality. |

1011 rooms including 16 suites. Standard rooms (sleeping up to 2 adults and 2 children) situated in five hunting lodges have a king-size bed or two double beds, heating/air-conditioning, telephone and television. Montana rooms are the same as Standard rooms but are located in the main building and have a minibar (available at a supplement from £9 per room per night).
