Barbados is a picture book paradise, miles of powdery white sands that are lapped by crystal clear warm waters
A
reputation for attracting the rich and famous, it's easy to see
Barbados' attraction. Clear waters and white sands are the image of
paradise but the essence of Barbados lies behind the sand and surf. A
distinctly British feel from familiar place names such as Folkstone
and Brighton to its colonial buildings and love for cricket; but
fear not it is still an island of classic calypso rhythms, a laid
back vibe and rum cocktails.
Let Barbados entertain you
Want entertainment until the early hours? take a trip into St
Lawrence Gap or 'The Gap' as it's commonly known: the hub for
dining, music and dancing. For somewhere more relaxed, head to the
west coast where you will find a nice selection of music bars and
restaurants dotted up and down the coast.
See the sights

Discover
Barbados
An island tour is the best way to get acquainted with Barbados and
all it has to offer. Although hiring a jeep is also a good option
as the island is easy to navigate and driving is on the left.
Barbados is one of the international capitals of cricket. Cricket
fans can head down to the Kensington Oval located near to
Bridgetown where you can catch a good game of cricket almost all
the time. A trip to Barbados is not complete until you experience
the world that lies beneath the sea; there are excellent
opportunities for diving and snorkelling, but those who don't fancy
getting wet can board the Atlantis submarine, taking you through
the colourful world of wrecks, reefs and tropical fish.
