Disneyland
Once inside Disneyland, there are eight main areas to explore. Fantasyland is the home of Sleeping Beauty's Castle and the famous Matterhorn Bobsleds ride, while in Tomorrowland you'll experience high-speed thrills on Space Mountain, the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. George Lucas helped design the Star Tours thrill ride, or try a different kind of thrill at the Haunted Mansion. Naturally Mickey and all his friends are on hand in Toontown, while Frontierland will transport you back to the days of pioneers, prospectors and cowboys on Thunder Mountain. At Disney's California Adventure Park the rides celebrate all things Californian - from the moviethemed Twilight Zone Tower of Terror to the Soarin' Over California hang-gliding ride. The newest attraction welcomes Lightning McQueen, Mater and other characters from the Disney- Pixar film 'Cars' as they come to life in the 12-acre Cars Land.
