The historic heart of America, the six states of
New England offer a colourful canvas of rolling hills, rugged
coastlines, quaint fishing villages and picturesque towns. From
Connecticut in the south to Maine in the north, the landscape is
characterised by its white-spired churches and seaside towns and
the region's scenic highways make it ideal for a self-drive
holiday.
Known for their warm hospitality and friendly manner, most New
Englanders have a love for the great outdoors; from hiking and
mountain biking to kayaking and white water rafting, there are
plenty of activities at which visitors can try their hand. From
white sand beaches and lighthouses to expansive lakes and majestic
mountains, the very best of New England is all within just a few
hours drive of Boston's Logan International Airport.

So much to see and do
Take a visit to Salem, home of the infamous witch trials, or see
the beautiful Cape Cod peninsula. For those with a sweet tooth the
Ben & Jerry's ice cream factory in Vermont is well worth a
visit.
New England's climate is fairly
straightforward with distinctive seasons. Summers can be hot where
winters are cold and snowy. 'Fall' is undoubtedly New England's
glory.

All aspects of our outstanding range of
American holidays and tours are expertly organised with every
detail going into our Signature America & Canada brochures. For
